FC Scribblings

“I spent eight weeks this summer living in the Sierra Nevadas at the UC Forestry Camp. While I was there taking classes about ecology and forest management, I also made my own personal creative writing project. I used the opportunity of living with limited contact to the outside world in one of the most beautiful places in the world to write. At the end of the summer I had compiled a short chapbook of poems I wrote backpacking, camping, living, and learning in the Sierras along with some sketches and painting I did while I was there.”
